When work performance or behaviour violates company policy, the supervisor/manager requires the employee to contact Hurst Place EAP through a Formal Referral process. Hurst Place will help the employee identify and resolve issues that create the performance or behaviour problem. With a Formal Referral, and the employee's signed informed consent, the supervisor/manager will be informed that the employee did or did not contact Hurst Place, and is or is not in compliance with a plan established to resolve the work performance or behaviour problem. The content of the session is not disclosed at any time.
